LTJG MATTHEW POPE, NSCC COMMANDING OFFICER GREENSBORO DIVISION

LT POPE started his career as a Sea Cadet with the Kentucky Division, while a Sea Cadet LT Pope graduated from RTC (boot camp), Airman School, and Petty Officer Leadership Academy (POLA). Upon Graduating from high school LT Pope took a billet with the Kentucky Division as a Division Officer, the then Midshipman Pope stayed with the KY Division for two years. Upon his arrival in Greensboro MIDN Pope enrolled and received his appointment to Ensign, he has served the Greensboro Division in many different billets. He was the Greensboro Division's first Public Affairs Officer second Training Officer, second Executive Officer and in July 2008 he received his promotion to LTJG and appointment as the second Commanding Officer.
